Tecnomors Robotic Grippers offer extensive range and proven reliability.
Dimac Tooling, Australia and New Zealand’s leading supplier of accessories and workholding solutions for CNC milling and CNC turning machine tools, is the sole agent for Tecnomors Robotic Grippers.
Robots are commonly used by CNC operators for putting parts into a machine – parts which must be gripped and picked up. Tecnomors is an Italian company established in 1967 that has specialised in producing high quality, precision made grippers for use with robotics.
Tecnomors pneumatic grippers are purpose designed to work with robots and can also be used as mounting adaptors and rotary actuators.
Over the years the company has built up an enviable reputation for quality and long term reliability, with a wide range of sophisticated designs guaranteeing the best solution to any automated gripping requirement.
“Tecnomors Grippers can pick up virtually anything and have a varied range of styles and options for holding different types of workpieces,” Dimac Managing Director Paul Fowler explained.
Tecnomors offer gripping mechanisms that can be utilised in a diverse range of industries for picking up metals, plastic sheets or many other types of material, even extending to picking up boxes for the packaging industry.
This is achieved through the use of a gripper that utilises vacuum force, ‘cat grip’ needles and a cryogrip which uses vaporised water to grip. There is also a version which features a rubber membrane that is inflated and deflated to pick up delicate workpieces.
“You name it, Tecnomors have a solution no matter what your requirement,” Mr Fowler went on to say.
“One of the key differences between Tecnomors and other products available in the marketplace is that there are no external cables – they are all self contained in the gripper unit for added safety and reliability,” Mr Fowler added.
Dimac has over 30 years experience in CNC machine tool accessories and are agents for many highly respected brands such as Kitagawa, Cooljet, Reven and Eron. The company also manufactures soft and hard jaws in their own CNC equipped machine shop.
“Like all the products we sell, Tecnomors Grippers are supported by the full back up and support of Dimac technical personnel to ensure the right product is specified and operates at optimum performance,” Mr Fowler concluded.
