From our origins in general  machining to specialising in power chucks and soft jaws, we’ve continually evolved our partnerships, processes, and products, driving productivity and delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency and performance across the machine tool industry.

Ron Dudgeon purchased Acme Engineering in Melbourne and manufactured general machining.

Acme Engineering combines with Dudgeon and moves to Burwood. Manufacturing capabilities increase to include electrical components such as connectors, moulded components and brass R/F connectors for tv aerials.

Purchase of the second ever Mazak NC Machine in Australia to expand manufacturing. This machine did not have a power chuck, which triggered Dudgeon Industries to expand into an agency / importer including the manufacturing of soft jaws.

Paul Fowler commenced his role as General Manager with over 20 years experience within the CNC Machine tool industry. This coincided with a significant growth in suppliers, Dimac specialising in the sales of Power Chucks and Rotary Tables and upgrades in manufacturing processes. Renewed the long-standing partnership with Kitagawa.

Passionate about teamwork and delivering quality solutions, Matt also shares his love for sport (especially cricket!) with the team.

Adrian’s journey at Dimac began in 1998 with his apprenticeship and continued in 2016, making him an integral, highly valued team member.
